With the financial support of the Vietnamese American Community of Austin Texas (VACAT), Truc Viet offers Vietnamese as a second language for Adults for different skill levels.

Vietnamese as a Second Language

Đàm Thoại Việt Ngữ

A Program by Truc Viet Organization

Basic conversational and grammar lessons for every day usage at home or around town. The class is designed for beginners, ages 16 and above, with no exposure or with minimal knowledge of the language. The focus will be on speaking and listening. Reading and writing will also be covered.

  • Classes are taught by native speakers of Vietnamese.
  • Tuition ($160) includes a book and accompanying CD in addition to handouts.

Đàm Thoại Việt Ngữ

A Program by Truc Viet Organization

Những bài học đàm thoại và văn phạm căn bản để dùng trong nhà hoặc ngoài phố. Lớp học thích hợp cho học viên 16 tuổi trở lên, chưa biết hoặc biết rất ít tiếng Việt. Chú trọng cách nói và nghe. Học viên cũng được dạy sơ qua về kỹ năng đọc và viết.  

  • Các lớp học sẽ được dạy bởi người Việt bản xứ.
  • Học phí ($160) bao gồm tài liệu học tập, sách giáo khoa và CD.

  • Thanh thiếu niên đàm thoại với cha mẹ, ông bà, và bà con
  • Thành viên cộng đồng giao tiếp với người hôn phối hoặc bạn bè nói tiếng Việt
  • Thành viên cộng đồng muốn tìm hiểu về ngôn ngữ và văn hoá Việt Nam
  • Cơ sở kinh doanh và cơ quan chính quyền giao tiếp với cộng đồng Mỹ gốc Việt địa phương
  • Người Mỹ gốc Việt bảo tồn ngôn ngữ, phong tục và tập quán
