ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE (ESL) FOR VIETNAMESE SPEAKING ADULTS
The ability to communicate in English is essential for full participation in American society. Without at least the basics of English, it is difficult to find a job, use public transportation, get access to medical care or social services, or pass the U.S. citizenship test.
With the financial support of the Vietnamese American Community of Austin Texas (VACAT), Truc Viet Organization offers English classes for students with varying levels of language skill, accommodating persons who may have never gone to school in their native country as well as those who have some of the basics but need to become more proficient.

Để đáp ứng nhu cầu cần thiết trong cuộc sống hằng ngày của người Việt tại Austin và vùng phụ cận trong việc giao tiếp với người Mỹ cũng như người của các sắc tộc khác, với sự hỗ trợ tài chánh của Cộng Đồng Việt Nam tại Austin (VACAT), tổ chức Trúc Việt trân trọng giới thiệu với quý vị một chương trình dạy Anh ngữ thực dụng.
- Rèn luyện kỹ năng Nghe và Nói qua các tình huống giao tiếp thực tế, thông dụng trong đời sống và công việc.
- Bài học mang tính ứng dụng cao, giúp gây dựng vốn ngữ vựng và văn phạm, luyện tập đặt câu, phát âm và ngữ điệu.
- Giáo viên hướng dẫn có thể nói tiếng Việt.
- Lớp học miễn phí đặc biệt cho cộng đồng Việt Nam.
Chương Trình Lớp Căn Bản
- Dành cho những người chưa biết hoặc biết một chút ít Anh ngữ.

Introduction
To respond to the needs in the every day life of the Vietnamese people in the Greater Austin area and to communicate with fellow Americans as well as people from other ethnicities, with the financial support of the Vietnamese American Community of Austin Texas (VACAT), the Truc Viet Organization is proud to bring you a practical English language program.
- Practice Listening and Speaking skills with practical, popular conversations in life and at work.
- Lessons are highly practical; students learn vocabulary and grammar, practice forming sentences, pronouncing words and tones.
- The teachers can speak Vietnamese.
- Classes are free for the Vietnamese community.
Introductory Level
- For beginners with no prior exposure or with minimal knowledge of the language.
